Former Philadelphia Eagles star Jason Kelce caused a social media stir on Saturday with his claims about hygiene etiquette and washing your feet and legs in the shower.
Initially, the recently retired Super Bowl champion was responding to some disrespect on social media regarding his appearance, and the conversation started from there.
X’s commenter wrote that Kelsey “looks like she hasn’t even washed her feet.”

“That’s weird to wash your feet…” Kelsey replied.
Kelsey’s post alone garnered 5.2 million views across the social media platform. Kelsey has since leaned into the drama and denied the “diabolical lies.”
“You’ve all been sold the nasty lie that constantly washing every inch of your body and hair is somehow better and healthier,” Kelsey wrote. “Any dermatologist not affiliated with a major soap company would agree!! All it takes is a hot spot, and it actually leads to cleaner, healthier skin.”

Kelce is not the first former NFL player to stir controversy over shower rules.
Dan Orlovsky, the former Detroit Lions quarterback and current NFL analyst for ESPN, wondered how many times shower towels will be washed in March 2023.
Then the takes just kept coming.

Kelsey was enjoying what was likely a fun, relaxing weekend after he and his wife, Kylie, were involved in a violent incident in Sea Isle City, New Jersey, last week. Since then, calm seems to have prevailed.
