Jason Kelce lost Super Bowl ring in chili pool at ‘New Heights’ show

It’s all fun and games until the Super Bowl’s glittery players get lost in a pool full of chili peppers.

Apparently that’s what happened to recently retired Eagles center Jason Kelce, who lost his Super Bowl ring during the “New Heights” live show in Cincinnati last week. One of the events involved students securing championship-style accessories to their socks. The actual ring-he with chili, spaghetti and cheese comes in two containers.

“You know, the reason this match existed is because I kept losing my Super Bowl ring, and I don’t even know if Travis knows this yet, but I can’t legally do this.” “I lost my Super Bowl ring at the event,” Jason said. Wednesday episode of the podcast “New Heights” He co-hosts with his brother, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

“They couldn’t find it… All of this stuff was thrown away, so it’s safe to assume my Super Bowl ring is now in a landfill somewhere in the Cincinnati/Tri-State area. I didn’t think that would happen.”

Jason, 36, won his only Super Bowl with the Eagles in 2018, defeating the Patriots 41-33.

Travis, who won his third championship with the Chiefs, didn’t hold back when talking about his brother.

“You’re really stupid,” the 34-year-old tight end said.

At one point, metal detectors were introduced and attempts to find the ring were unfounded, but Jason theorized how the Super Bowl ring might have been lost.

“The only thing I can think of is that at some point the sock got kicked out of the pool from three sides and was discarded somehow,” the seven-time pro says. Bowler said.

“But sure enough, the Super Bowl ring is officially gone.”

The nasty prank took place during the Long Baby competition, an Olympic-style event pitting students against each other.

Jason explained earlier on Wednesday’s show that inside the chili concoction was a “sock with pretend rings on it, and only one ring was actually real.”

Jason said an insurance claim has since been filed.

“I think the insurance companies have something to say about whether or not they will cover it,” Jason said.

“Yes, 100 percent,” Travis replied. “Especially when you’re going to tell the whole world how you lost it.”

Jason seemed to accept the loss, but pondered whether he could create something new.

“Someone messed with my Super Bowl ring at some point and I thought it was fine, I mean, it’s just a hunk of metal, so I guess I’ll just have them make me another ring?” They Then you can do that, right? ” he asked Travis, to which the tight end replied, “I don’t know, Jason.”

“I think you can see that,” Jason said.

Before moving on to another segment of the podcast, Travis offered some sound advice to listeners at home.

“Don’t do what Jason did,” the All-Pro tight end said.

Jason previously lost his ring during the Eagles’ Super Bowl II victory, and his wife, Kylie, retrieved it from the glove box of his car. According to talk sports.
