Jason Kelce could be closer to making a decision on his NFL future in the “coming weeks.”
The Kelsey family has been in the spotlight this season, especially this past week during the Super Bowl festivities in Las Vegas.
However, Kelce remains tight-lipped about whether he will return to play next season after the Eagles were brutally eliminated in the postseason by the Buccaneers in the Wild Card Round.
After being eliminated from the Wild Card Round, reports surfaced that Kelce had told his teammates that he was retiring, but Kelce has not made an official announcement and said he hasn’t actually made any decisions.
“I’m still thinking about it,” Kelce told Shaquille O’Neal on “The Big Podcast with Shaq” on Monday. “If I still want to play, I think I’ll play. At this point, I don’t think we’re that far off from the last game. It’s emotional, it’s a long season, and frankly it’s a terrible end to the season. So I’m going to give it some time. I’m going to take it, rest, recover, and then figure it out.
“I think we’ll have an answer in the next few weeks.”
Kelce may have hinted at what he’s going to do during Pro Bowl weekend in Orlando.
A viral video on TikTok showed him saying “I’ll try not to retire” when a fan begged him not to.
Travis Kelce also addressed his brother’s future during Super Bowl week, saying any decision is “still up in the air, I think.”
Kelce attracted a lot of attention during his trip to Sin City to support his brother and the Chiefs.

However, it seems that it was also Kelce’s brother’s business trip.
According to Front Office Sports, he met with ESPN and FOX to discuss a possible career in broadcasting after his playing days are over.
