Jayson Tatum ‘tried to put on a show’ in Celtics’ win over Knicks

For those watching the two losses of the Celtics Knicks this season, it was clear to those watching again on opening night and Saturday night.

Former Celtics player and current television analyst Brian Scarablin was piled up at the post-game show following Saturday's 131-104 defeat in the yard.

Karl-Anthony Towns registered a season-high nine points after being downgraded from possibility to questionable early on Saturday due to knee issues.

“Yeah, I wanted to play. The town said, “Amazing game and I wanted to go out there and compete.”

The town, which also dealt with his recent thumb injury, was asked if he felt 100% healthy.

“No, but I just wanted to play because I know that with work I can do anything in my mind.”

Tom Thibodeau praised former Knicks coach and longtime Announcerfbee Brown. He called his final game on television on Sunday between the 76ers and the Bucks at the age of 91.

“A great coach, teacher. Thibodeau said on Saturday. “Every time you hear him, you feel like you learn something. He's a great person and an incredible career, he's He was a great ambassador for the game. He's a special person and I'm excited about him.”
