Jazz Chisholm Jr. backs the Rangers at the Winter Classic

Jazz Chisholm Jr. is diving into the New York sports scene as the Yankees’ offseason progresses.

Recently, Chisholm was spotted at Miami’s Lawn Depot Park, where he and his fiancée, Annalize Santiago, cheered for the Rangers during their matchup against the Panthers. This outing followed their appearance at the Nets’ game, where Brooklyn faced a hefty defeat against the Rockets.

The 27-year-old was hard to miss, donning a special Rangers jersey for the Winter Classic, complete with a bold pendant of the tournament logo hanging from his chain.

Chisholm also made a splash on NHL social media as he participated in a “fit check” before the game.

In late December, the couple got engaged under the enchanting Northern Lights in Finland, sharing their joyful news through a joint Instagram post.

Santiago, 25, playfully remarked on Instagram, “I’m not da girl anymore, I’m a wife. I love you so much, oh my god, you cheated on me @_jazz3 🥹✨ You know he’s not playing me, oh my god 😭 MS MAC CHISHOLM.”

While they seem quite active in their engagement celebrations, the future for Chisholm in the Bronx is a bit up in the air.

Reports indicate that the Yankees are currently “conducting an investigation” into Chisholm, especially after he had a strong season last year.

In 2025, he played 130 games, achieving a .242/.332/.481 batting line, hitting 31 home runs and stealing 31 bases, which earned him a spot in the Yankees’ 30-30 club.

Yankees GM Brian Cashman expressed his belief that Chisholm will be integral to the team’s transformation next season, mentioning, “I think he’s part of the solution right now. He gave us athleticism and made us better. He’s an All-Star second baseman with great defensive skills, power, and speed. He’s a solid player. We need to consider his role alongside others, whether it’s at third base or elsewhere.”

Cashman added, “We’re keeping an open mind about all potential lineups. But I believe, fundamentally, these players are all talented.”
