Jazz GM had no idea his team was part of ‘gift’ Luka Doncic trade

The Utah Jazz didn't consider them to be accomplices as they were arguably the biggest robbers in NBA history.

When Luka Donsic traded with the Los Angeles Lakers at the trade deadline, the Jazz was the third team in the trade, but they were not given details of what the deal was. Pick and former Lakers first-round pick Jalen Hood-Schifino are back in trade. They said yes.

Now, Jazz general manager Justin Zanick says that if he knows he's helping the Lakers get Don Sic, he'll have regrets from buyers.

“Rob Perinka said at a press conference that he introduced Luka as a 'gift'. I think that's a lot of my colleagues – I don't want to talk for them – but how did we feel,” Zanik said on Wednesday's Jazz Lakers Games broadcast.

“Obviously, it reshaped the Western Conference,” Zanik added. “When we were with those guys right away, I probably had a little more mind being a third team. At this point we were in the playoffs now. If so, I ask both of them what is ” going on here ,” and basically “I'm not doing it,” but our ability to pick up things, basically free, It was really sweet to do what another team would have done anyway. ”

The Jazz is far from playoff competition as the 14th seed in the NBA with a 13-40 record, and is the third worst in the NBA.

They will probably get there one day, but for now they have to deal with Don Sic in Los Angeles next to LeBron James.

In return, the Mavericks got an Anthony Davis flavour, but they say they're saying they're saying it was Anthony Davis's, but just over a month he's been I was able to put it aside.

“Nico” [Harrison] In Dallas, they do a great job,” Zanick declared on the broadcast. “They obviously have their reasons and want to improve their defense, and they got their own top 15 players out there.
