Vice President JD Vance has the trick to speaking common sense. His recent speech at the National League of Cities only highlighted an increasingly unusual talent.
“You go around the world and see a very consistent relationship between a huge increase in immigration and a huge increase in housing prices. We have to be honest about that,” Vance told the audience before Heckler interrupted to rebuttal his point.
“I see one of our lovely representatives here actually wants. I think we're continuing to overflow the country with illegal immigration and keep your community and citizens out of hand,” Vance shot calmly.

“But one of the reasons we do what we do is because we want to make it more affordable for Americans to live in, with all our respect, and that's one of the reasons why we do what we do,” he continued.
Vance continued to tell the audience and Heckler that they needed two incomes to buy American homes, and that illegal immigrants were taking affordable housing for themselves.
“This is different from 'JD Vance bashing the protesters.' JD Vance just somehow gave the common sense that you're not allowed to say, and that it has nothing to do with whether you like immigrants or not.”
“It's pure mathematics and sane people will know that if you bring in a lot of illegals, it will cause all these problems. This should be controversial, but the sad thing is that many people who work in these cities don't want to acknowledge the fundamental reality that makes life better for American citizens,” he continues.
“And when there are millions of people who could be deported from this country, what do you speculate? Everyone's rent starts to be a little more affordable,” he adds.
