Jelly Roll’s first appearance as a late-night talk show host was quite the spectacle.
The country singer and rapper, who has also taken on a WWE role, stepped in as an alternative host for “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on Wednesday. As expected, professional wrestler Randy Orton took to the desk to interview him, and, well, the humor flowed.
Then, just ten minutes later, things escalated—Orton chokeslammed Logan Paul right through the desk.
The segment featured Jelly Roll alongside Orton, Paul, and Drew McIntyre, all promoting the upcoming SummerSlam matches.
Things got a bit chaotic when McIntyre made his entrance, calling out some rather bold trash talk.
“You’re in for it at SummerSlam, but hey, I’m bringing some positivity,” McIntyre quipped. “This guy here, Jelly Roll, lost over 200 pounds and is an inspiration for folks everywhere.”
He added a cheeky question, “So, how did it feel to see your little Tootsie Roll for the first time in 20 years after shedding all that weight?”
In response, Orton got up and said, “Drew, nobody flew here to see you act like a fool. Why not save the drama for another time?”
From there, things got even more heated as McIntyre and Orton went at it until Paul jumped in, facing a not-so-friendly crowd.
“Listen, you’re just a greasy, redneck prison rat,” Paul said, shoving Jelly Roll, “Congrats! It’s a Logan Paul show now. I’m the real star here.”
This prompted Jelly Roll to take action. He grabbed Paul and lifted him, slamming him right onto the wooden desk.
The four of them are set to clash during the main event on Saturday, July 12th, where Paul is expected to face Orton while Jelly Roll and McIntyre will also be in the mix.
SummerSlam is set to take place on August 2-3 at MetLife Stadium.
