Jenna Bush Hager Debuts Bold New Bob Hairstyle
Recently, Jenna Bush Hager, the host of the “Today” show, made a striking change to her hairstyle, opting for a short bob inspired by Leslie Bibb’s character from “White Lotus.” Bibb, who plays Kate Boer in the latest season of the HBO series, joined Hager as a co-host for “Jenna & Friends” on Monday and brought along hairstylist Chris McMillan to help with the transformation.
During the segment, Bibb shared that she had a promise from Hager when she visited in March. “Jenna vowed to go for the bob, and today is the day,” she announced, eliciting excitement from the audience.
While Hager seemed enthusiastic about the change, some viewers appeared skeptical. She even mentioned her daughter Mira, who expressed concerns, saying, “Mom, I won’t do it; you’ll regret it!” Still, Bibb and McMillan offered plenty of encouragement. “You’re so bad, you’re so cool,” Bibb told Hager as she prepared for the big chop.
McMillan, known for his work with various high-profile clients, suggested that his signature A-line style would be the shortest, grazing the nape of Hager’s neck. Hager joked about her decision, even comparing it to a scene from “Single White Female,” a classic film.
However, when the first cut was made, Hager gasped, “Ah, it’s so short! Is it much shorter?” It was a moment filled with a mix of excitement and apprehension.
McMillan reassured her that such a cut is much like a spring cleaning for the hair, suggesting it can help remove any damage or uneven layers. He aimed to create a look that was both modern and appealing, aligning with her facial structure in a way that would be reminiscent of Jennifer Aniston’s styles.
Bibb’s bob haircut has gained significant attention on social media, going viral shortly after the third season of “The White Lotus” premiered. The public is certainly eager to hear how Hager’s family feels about her bold new look.
