Jennifer Aniston reflects on her ex-husband Brad Pitt's appearance on 'Friends'

Jennifer Aniston has shared some thoughts on her ex-husband Brad Pitt’s guest appearance on Friends, which happened over two decades ago, following their divorce.

“When Brad was on, it was so funny,” Lisa Kudrow remarked to Aniston, 57, during an episode of the show “Actors on Actors,” which was released recently.

“I know! It was hilarious,” Aniston responded, switching the topic to other notable cameos featured on the show.

“There were so many movie stars like Brad, Bruce Willis, Julia Roberts, Isabella Rossellini, Sean Penn… a lot of them!”

Aniston expressed her curiosity about how nervous those stars usually were during their appearances. “I remember thinking about how nervous they seemed. It’s not theater; it’s TV. It’s a different vibe,” she said.

“Exactly,” Kudrow agreed. “The tone is different. It’s confusing, isn’t it?”

Fans might recall that Pitt starred on Friends during a Thanksgiving episode in 2001, titled “Rumored People.”

He played Will Colbert, who was part of the “I Hate Rachel” club back in high school, along with Ross Geller, portrayed by David Schwimmer. Pitt and Aniston, who played Rachel Green, were actually married while filming that episode.

The couple was married for five years before they announced their divorce in 2005.

In a more recent reflection to Vanity Fair last August, Aniston described their breakup as “vulnerable” and somewhat “uncomfortable,” primarily due to the intense media scrutiny surrounding their relationship at the time.

“It was an unpleasant experience. I think we all carry some emotional scars from it,” she shared. “It felt like journalism back then was almost like a sport. It’s quite scary how it affected us.”
