Jennifer Lawrence Shares Her Nicknames
This week, Jennifer Lawrence opened up about having a few quirky nicknames throughout her life. It’s kind of amusing, really. She shared on Amy Poehler’s podcast, “Good Hang,” that they include “Frofin” and “Nitro.”
In a light-hearted moment, she jokingly referred to herself as “Boobs” Lawrence, saying, “Official government name.” But that’s not all—her friends also call her “Ken from Barbie” since they say she often does or says, well, some not-so-bright things. It’s kind of endearing how she laughs about it.
Lawrence, now 35, even talked about the “embarrassment” of a recent photo shoot, where she quipped about not wearing a bra because, well, being a mom to two kids changes the game a bit. “You want me to show you something?” she joked, referring to the awkwardness of it all.
She also touched on how motherhood has changed her body following the birth of her second son last year. There was a challenging postpartum period that altered her perspective. “Honestly, I didn’t feel like I was losing weight, but I thought maybe I was,” she admitted, chuckling about wearing strapless outfits just weeks after giving birth.
Surprisingly, she mentioned how she expected people to comment on how thin she looked in her latest movie, “Die My Love,” but no one did—they completely overlooked the fact that she was pregnant during filming. Funny how some things just slip by unnoticed, right?
Additionally, she recounted how her childhood brothers dubbed her “Nitro.” They clearly had their fun with her nicknames!
When Amy asked about growing up with her two older brothers, Lawrence agreed that they were quite protective, which, she believes, helped toughen her up. It’s interesting how those sibling dynamics shape us, don’t you think?
