Jennifer Lopez is the latest celebrity to enjoy the “Brat” summer.
The “Waiting for Tonight” singer shared a casual selfie on Monday that shows her sitting comfortably in a chair in a cozy sweatshirt, sans makeup and smiling with her mouth closed.
Lopez, 55, shared the image to her Instagram grid and then reposted it to her Story, adding Charli XCX’s buzzworthy track “Apple,” from her album “Brat,” as background music.
J.Lo also added a lime green background to the selfie as another homage to the acclaimed album’s artwork.
Charlie, 31, released her sixth album in June to such a bang that her adoring fans are calling this season “Brat” summer, a trend that reached unprecedented levels when the British singer referred to presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris as a “Brat.”
The vice president’s stepdaughter, Ella Emhoff, praised Charlie’s declaration, replying, “@charli_xcx gets it.”
The “360” artist previously explained that a “brat” refers to a girl who’s “a little bit messy, likes to party, and sometimes says stupid things.”

Lopez’s “Brat” summer seemingly began in May when it emerged that her two-year marriage to Ben Affleck was headed for a breakdown.
After living in a rental property for the past few months, the Oscar winner reportedly recently started a new life without Lopez, purchasing a $20.5 million mansion in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood of Los Angeles.
Meanwhile, the “Selena” star has spent much of the summer in the Hamptons and celebrated her 55th birthday with a lavish “Bridgerton”-themed party earlier this month.
Affleck, 51, did not show up to her celebration or her wedding anniversary.
