Jeremy Clarkson’s Cancer Diagnosis Revealed
During a recent episode of “Clarkson’s Farm,” Jeremy Clarkson disclosed that he’s been diagnosed with an “aggressive” form of cancer. The episode, which premiered on Wednesday, is part of a series that’s currently available on Amazon. It seems, however, that the footage was likely filmed in 2024 or 2025, according to reports from the BBC.
In a candid moment, the 66-year-old television personality informed co-stars Kaleb Cooper and Charlie Ireland about his diagnosis, though he didn’t specify the type of cancer during their initial conversation. He mentioned, “I disappeared off the other week, and I had a biopsy, and it is cancer, and it’s aggressive, but it’s really early,” as reported by the BBC.
Interestingly, Clarkson noted he had been aware of his condition since May, but the timeline of the diagnosis remains somewhat unclear.
In a follow-up episode, which was released at the same time, he elaborated while speaking with Cooper, stating, “The prostate, 10 percent of it is dead, the 10 percent where the cancer is.” He further shared with another co-star that he had undergone surgery and hoped it was successful, although they wouldn’t know for certain just yet.
The season concluded with scenes of Clarkson in a hospital bed, recuperating from his treatment. Reflecting on his journey, he remarked, “We started season five with me in a hospital bed, and here we are at the end of season five, and I’m back in the hospital bed.”
Clarkson revealed that some aspects of his treatment had not gone as planned, stating he would be in the hospital for a while and mentioned feeling uncertain about the future: “I’m nil by mouth, I don’t know what’s going to happen.”
He ended on a note directed towards his fans, saying, “But if this is all successful, I’ll see you for season six, and if it isn’t, I won’t.”
In a video he posted on Instagram, Clarkson mentioned that he typically aims to keep the show upbeat, but warned viewers that the final two episodes might be hard to watch. This isn’t his first health challenge; he previously shared his experiences following a heart procedure in October 2024.
