Christmas Greetings from the “Seinfeld” Crew
It appears that Jerry Seinfeld, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and Larry David got together on Christmas Eve, and Seinfeld shared a couple of smiles on Instagram over the weekend.
In the images posted, the trio looks genuinely happy, standing in a cozy setting. Seinfeld wrote in the caption: “The creatures were excited… ‘Christmas Eve 2025.’
Fans took to the comments section to express their delight at this reunion. One user remarked, “This is a Christmas present,” while another excitedly exclaimed, “This is gold, Jerry, it’s gold!!” Someone even playfully noted, “Not Jason? George is mad!!!,” referring to Jason Alexander, who portrayed George Costanza.
Another commenter chimed in with a classic line from the show: “You want a Christmas card?! This is your Christmas card!”
Seinfeld and David, who is now 78, were the creative minds behind the beloved show, which aired on NBC for nine seasons between 1989 and 1998. The series featured Seinfeld as an exaggerated version of himself, living in New York City, alongside Louis-Dreyfus as Elaine, Alexander as George, and Michael Richards as Kramer.
Back in 2021, Seinfeld dismissed any speculation about a “Seinfeld” reunion, stating, “Absolutely nothing is happening.” He, along with the cast, believed that any new content probably wouldn’t live up to the original. “I think we did a good job,” he added.
Yet, in October 2023, Seinfeld hinted at a possible change in tone regarding the show’s revival. During a stand-up performance in Boston, he mentioned, “I have a little secret for you. [Seinfeld] ending. But I can’t really say that because it’s a secret.” He teased that something related to the ending might happen in the future.
Reflecting on the show’s legacy, Seinfeld once shared his thoughts in an interview, saying, “It has stood the test of time. I think that’s the biggest test for anything you make. If you can look back on it with fondness, that proves it was well made.” He also emphasized the personal nature of the show, noting that each cast member was a deliberate choice, highlighting the personal connections he had with them.
