Jesse Waters: Trump knows how to charm the wealthy and comes from the wealthy world. He knows all the wealthy want is a rich country and common sense policies. The former president made $170 million last month, completely destroying Biden’s financial advantage. Some of that money came from billionaires like: $50 million from Timothy MellonHe is the heir to the Mellon family banking fortune. It’s one of the largest donations in political history, but the bulk of the money came from smaller contributions following Trump’s conviction in May. Trump is leading in all battleground states, including heavily Democratic Minnesota, where he narrowly beat Biden when RFK Jr. was on the ballot. Republicans haven’t won Minnesota It’s the highest approval rating since Nixon. Compared to 2020, Trump is up 19 points among blacks and 8 points among Hispanics. The New York Times reports that Biden is down 5 points among women compared to four years ago. All of this means that Biden cannot afford to make any mistakes between now and November. He cannot afford to lose any more voters.
