Watters Comments on Ocasio-Cortez’s Remarks toward Miller
On Tuesday, Jesse Watters from Fox News made a lighthearted remark suggesting that Democrat New York State Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez might have feelings for Stephen Miller, the White House vice-Chief of Staff for Policy. This came after Ocasio-Cortez referred to Miller as a “clown” during his Instagram live feed, where she humorously noted his height, which she claimed was just a little over four feet.
Watters was responding to a discussion on the show “The Five” after his co-host, Dana Perino, mentioned Ocasio-Cortez’s comments about male Trump supporters. “It’s obvious AOC has a crush on Miller. Honestly, I can’t compete with that,” Watters joked. He described Miller as someone who is not overly compensated compared to others at the table, including himself.
Continuing his thoughts, Watters asserted that Ocasio-Cortez misunderstands men like Miller. He emphasized Miller’s valuable qualities such as power, influence, and confidence, suggesting that he is dedicated to important missions like preserving the Republic. Watters blamed Ocasio-Cortez’s preferences on her desire for someone similar in stature to other prominent figures.
Watters elaborated on his theory about why Ocasio-Cortez might be drawn to Miller, despite her engagement to Riley Roberts since 2022. He referenced Ocasio-Cortez’s claims from December 2021, where she argued that some Republican critics wanted a romantic interest in her. He framed the discussion around themes of bravery and worthiness, pointing out that valuable men, like Miller, take risks and show courage.
Neither Ocasio-Cortez nor Miller had responded to inquiries regarding the comments made on the show.
Additionally, there was a previous incident involving Elon Musk, who accused Ocasio-Cortez of flirting with him following his controversial bid to buy Twitter in April 2022. He referenced this in a now-deleted tweet from March 2023.
