Jessica Simpson and her ex-husband, Eric Johnson, sparked more speculation about their relationship during a night out at Ashley Simpson’s concert in Las Vegas on Friday.

As captured in videos shared online, the couple attended the opening show of Ashley’s residency at the Voltaire Nightclub inside the Venetian Hotel. They seemed to be enjoying the evening but kept their interactions low-key.

While mingling with friends, it was noticeable that they maintained some distance. When Ashley began her set, they naturally separated, which seemed to signify they were not quite on the same page, at least publicly.

Jessica’s parents, Joe and Tina Simpson, were also present to support Ashley during her performance.

This reunion fueled rumors that they might be reconciling, especially after they were seen together on a flight from Burbank, California, to Vegas earlier that day. A video from the airport showed both of them boarding, and although they sat in the same row, there were empty seats between them.

Jessica announced their separation in January after ten years of marriage, describing their situation as challenging. She emphasized the importance of prioritizing their children and requested privacy as they navigate this phase.

Fans had speculated about their relationship status, noting Jessica’s lack of social media posts featuring Eric since 2023. Earlier this month, she reflected on the breakup in an interview, revealing that it prompted her to ask tough questions about her life.

As of now, it’s unclear where things stand between them. Jessica described herself as a “very single woman” when she opened up about her relationship status in March, indicating that her journey has been a complex one.
