Jesse James Decker Shares Her Health Struggles

Country singer Jesse James Decker has opened up about her ongoing battle with a mysterious illness that leads to facial swelling and respiratory issues.

The 37-year-old took to social media on December 4, sharing her health challenges through several Instagram posts. She mentioned that she had been feeling unwell for a few days.

“My face is so swollen, and I actually felt a bit better last night. But this morning, I’m coughing, and my chest is heavy,” Decker explained to her 4.3 million followers.

“I even tried a dose of my inhaler to see if it would help,” she continued. “Whatever this is, it just keeps morphing into something else. It’s really strange.”

In one video she posted, Decker was seen trying to relax and recover while soaking in a hot tub.

“I feel a bit better today… still have a slight fever and stomachache, but after yesterday, I can manage,” she wrote.

She also hinted at trying to address this problem before it escalates, saying she didn’t want to label the unknown illness as something severe just yet.

Decker engaged with her fans by asking for movie recommendations since she was spending time in bed.

She didn’t specify if she had sought medical advice regarding her condition.

Expressing her frustration, she said, “I hope this goes away soon.” Although she felt that she’d improved the night before, her health took a downturn again.

“Stay hopeful,” she encouraged her followers, adding, “I thought maybe this was finally ending.” Nevertheless, she woke up with a “new something” today.

Additional videos on her Stories showed her eating a quick breakfast, admitting she looked sick and exhausted, even saying she wasn’t up to cooking eggs.

In another post, Decker shared a photo of herself relaxing on a couch, captioning it, “I have severe chest pain. Do I need to see a doctor? Or will it just get better?”

She also expressed how draining it was, noting, “I used too much energy. I’m back to lying down,” overlaying the photo with the words, “Well, I hate being sick. It makes me angry.”

The cause of her illness remains undisclosed.
