In particular, Mr. Rodgers criticized Mike Foss, ESPN's senior vice president of production, for criticizing Mr. Rodgers for his accusations against Mr. Kimmel, saying that Mr. “This should never have happened,'' he said.
“I don't understand Mike Foss' comments and he didn't help me,” Rodgers told McAfee during the Jan. 9 broadcast.
“Mike, you're not helping me. I just read exactly what I said earlier,” Rodgers added accusingly.
“This is the media strategy. This is what they do. They try to cancel. It's not just me. It's not just me. I've been censored on the internet, especially during COVID-19. “If you look at different people, there's been cancellations, there's been censorship, there's been attempts to use the government to censor people, and if that doesn't work, their names will come up. I'm calling them.” Mr. Rogers continued.
“I've said all the names I've been called, but they don't stick because I'm not anti-vaxxer,” the NFL star added. “I'm interested in informed consent and what's best for my body. I'm not MAGA. I have no ties to anyone associated with that movement, but if you are, that's okay. !”
“There are different opinions all over the place. If that's your ideology, that's fine! I'm not a super political person. Do whatever you want. Conspiracy theorist? That's fine. Over the past few years Because if you look at the track record of conspiracy theorists, they're right about a lot of things,” Rogers concluded.
He also landed another jab at Kimmel.
“I'm glad Jimmy isn't on the list. I really don't think he's that word.” [pedophile]. “I think it's amazing that a guy who went to Arizona State University and had 10 joke writers reads from a teleprompter,” Rogers quipped.
