Jets’ Breece Hall on viral airport confrontation with fan

Breece Hall is speaking out after a recent confrontation with an aggressive fan at the airport that required Giants great Carl Banks to intervene.

The Jets running back addressed the issue on Monday, hours after footage of the incident spread on social media. In the post of X“There is a time and place for everything,” he said, stressing that “harassment at baggage claim is not the time and place.”

“If you know me, you know I always show love! There’s a time and place for everything, but harassment at baggage claim is not the time and place.” Hall, 22, wrote.

“Thankfully Carl and my boyfriend Joe made sure nothing happened.”

Their first encounter took place during Sunday’s Super Bowl at Newark Liberty International Airport, where Hall had flown in from Las Vegas.

While the former second-round pick waited at baggage claim, the fan in question asked Hall for an autograph, but the NFL pro didn’t want one.

According to the footage, tensions seemed to rise from there. Shared by TMZ SportsA fan told Hall: If you’re going to slap me, slap me. ”

Banks, a 6-foot-4 former linebacker and two-time Super Bowl champion with the Giants, could be seen speaking to fans near the hall or stepping in between parties to encourage supporters to join him. Ta.

As he left the area, fans verbally fired at Hall.

“Get that man out of here, man,” said the man.

Banks, 61, who told TMZ that she cannot stand idly by as the situation evolves, reshared Hall’s message on her X page on Monday.

Hall recently completed his second season with the Jets, rushing for 994 yards while scoring five touchdowns on the year after a torn ACL.
