Boxing writer and pro-Israel activist Emily Austin said last week at the Republican Jewish Coalition's (RJC) annual leadership conference in Las Vegas, Nevada, that Jewish people have a duty to speak out and elect Donald Trump in November.
“If Donald Trump does not win this election, Jews and Israel will be in serious trouble,” Austin said, warning that an administration led by Vice President Kamala Harris and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz would “add fuel to the fires of Jew-hatred in the United States.”
She accused President Joe Biden of promoting the “dehumanization” of Jews by lounging on the beach rather than doing all he can to free Israeli hostages from Hamas.
But Austin's message was primarily aimed at her fellow Jewish people, whom she urged to stand up and speak out.
“We have to write our own story and take our destiny into our own hands,” she said.
She said she received threats for her outspoken views on Israel, but continued to speak out anyway.
“I promise you, if we speak up, others will follow.”
Austin also spoke to Breitbart News at the Republican National Convention in July, explaining that while Trump would protect Jewish people from anti-Semitism and terrorism, Biden and Harris cannot and will not do so.
