Jim Cramer names IPOs to buy on weakness: Cava, Reddit and Viking – CNBC

CNBC's Jim Cramer talks to investors about how to make the most of the tough spells of market losses and advises them to find bargains in many sectors, including the recent early public offerings. Hippo, Reddit and Viking Holdings.

“Even after today's rebound, the massive stocks are still far down from their highs,” he said. “And I think we've reached the point where you can hunt for opportunities with the toughest hit names, assuming you stick to the best operator.”

As Wall Street begins to panic, fairly new IPOs are considered risky and usually found in chopping blocks, Cramer said. However, the pullbacks have created opportunities to buy the best crops, he continued. He said he understands why the hippo was hit hard. Mediterranean restaurant chains could see their businesses hurt if they were the basis for consumer reliability. But Cramer explains he likes stocks in the long term, and as fast casual dining clothes continue to post strong revenue results and plans to expand across the country, he hasn't seen that “loss of conception.”

Like Cava, Reddit's business appears to be on track despite the stock price hit. Cramer admitted that if the economy falls into a complete recession, the company's business could suffer because it relies on advertising. However, he said there was no recession on the horizon, so the stock is “attractive.”

Kramer said it felt like “smooth sailing.” For luxury cruise line vikings, they have just reported solid quarterly and aggressive annual forecasts, even amid concerns about the broad impact of tariff hikes. He was impressed that the company reported already 88% bookings had been booked in 2025 as of February, and pointed out that it is the dominant player in the river cruise market. Cramer added that cruises tend to offer a worthy vacation, even in gorgeous outfits like the Viking.

“They're coming down the hardest, and assuming we'll get through this, they're likely to bounce the hardest too,” Cramer said.

Cava, Reddit, and Viking did not respond immediately to requests for comment.
