Jimmy Butler delivers blunt message to Pat Riley before Warriors-Heat game

Jimmy Butler may still be looking for his joy in Miami, but he is still with his new team.

And the claims were on display as NBA reporter Taylor Lukes discussed his conversation with Butler before his 112-86 defeat.

“I have nothing to say to putt. Pat has nothing to say to me,” Lukes said Butler told her.

The comments should not be too surprising given how things end in the heat.

Butler asked to be traded in January, revealing that his time in Miami is nearing the end.

Heat initially publicly stated that they would not trade Butlers, but soon afterwards they reversed the course.

Butler was also suspended three times just before the deal, with the last being indefinite.

Saga finally ended on February 5th, before the NBA trade deadline, when deals with Warriors were collected.
