Jimmy Kimmel, the left-leaning late-night host on ABC, sent out a fundraising email this week urging people to donate to Joe Biden’s campaign to defeat Donald Trump in November.
“Hello, I’m Jimmy Kimmel,” the comedian said in an email sent by the Biden Victory Fund. “I’m the host of a ‘low-rated’ TV show that Donald Trump watches with disgust.”
Kimmel then told donors that he had a “chance to win a star-studded Biden campaign fundraiser featuring himself in Los Angeles this month.” George Clooney And Julia Roberts.”
“Trump will hate this, so let’s do it!” the email continued. “Our democracy may not survive another four years of Trump. He may say, ‘Are you kidding me?'”

The email came just months after Jimmy Kimmel read a Truth Social post the former president sent during his broadcast of the Oscars.
“Has there ever been a worse host at the Oscars than Jimmy Kimmel? His opening was that of a sub-par person desperately trying to be something he is not and will never be,” he wrote.
Trump then suggested ABC “fire Kimmel” and replace him with George Stephanopoulos.
“They should fire Kimmel and replace him with another failed but cheesy ABC ‘talent,’ George Slopanopoulos,” he said.
“He will make everyone on stage look bigger, stronger and more attractive. Also, tonight’s show is politically terrible and has been for years – disjointed, boring and extremely unfair. Why not give the Oscars to someone who deserves them? Maybe audiences and TV ratings will bounce back from rock bottom. Make America Great Again!” he concluded.
