ABC's Jimmy Kimmel, who was on the verge of tears following President-elect Donald Trump's victory last week, disparaged first lady Melania Trump on Tuesday's show, making fun of her accent and calling her the I conjured up a fantasy and immediately returned to my old self. She divorced President-elect Donald Trump.
Jimmy Kimmel attacked Melania Trump in his opening monologue, pointing out that Melania turned down Jill Biden's invitation from the White House.
“Mr. Trump's team claims there was a scheduling conflict related to Melania Melania's 'Book,' which she released five weeks ago, but that doesn't seem to be true,” Trump said in the studio. The audience laughed at her ethnic joke about her accent.
“But you know what? To be fair to Melania, she's probably in the middle of putting up Christmas decorations, and we know she's looking forward to something.”
Kimmel then dug into the corporate media's breathless reports that Melania Trump will not be in the White House full-time, but will be on hand for some events.
“Can you imagine what would happen if they broke up?” Kimmel speculated, drawing more laughter from the audience. “Can you imagine what would happen if Donald Trump were alone?”
During the campaign, Jimmy Kimmel helped promote the candidate by hosting the candidate's ABC show and humanizing her by sharing beers with her.
As Breitbart News reported, Kimmel was visibly close to tears last week after the election.
“Let's be honest, last night was a bad night,” he said, his voice trembling and his eyes watering.
