J.J. Watt got a rather casual interview on CBS' “NFL Today” Sunday afternoon before the 1 p.m. kickoff. His brother, Pittsburgh Steelers star edge rusher T.J. Watt, took the time to speak with him before the team's matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers.
What was meant to be a heartwarming moment between brothers turned into a funny moment of brotherly love that had all of JJ's CBS colleagues laughing out loud.
First, Watt asked his younger brother what he planned to do in the locker room for the 15 to 20 minutes before playing.

“Herb (Nick Herbig) just took over as my assistant from Cam Heyward, so I'm hoping he'll play some good tunes, and then I get in the right frame of mind, get a little imagination going, and all the hard work is done. Now I just have to go out there and play,” he replied.
But the situation got more personal when TJ was given a small Steelers jersey with his number, 90, on the back. But it didn't have his last name on it. Instead, it said “Daddy” where Watt had been. TJ wanted to congratulate his brother and his wife, Dani, who are expecting their first child.
“Personally, I know what that why means and how important it is, so before you all go back to the locker room and congratulate us on the birth of your baby, I want to give you a little gift: I wish you all the best,” JJ said, as TJ held up his uniform for the camera.

But TJ's reaction was hysterical.
“Thanks. I appreciate you trying to mess with my head,” he said with a laugh. “I really appreciate it. I'll focus right now.”

“We've had 10 sacks in 10 games since Core joined us,” JJ quickly responded, “so I'm just saying, there's a lot of great things to come. You might see some great things going forward.”
TJ took things from there.
“I know, JJ. I know. Keep pushing yourself. That's great,” he said.
JJ then said, “Joe Alto, have a great day, big guy,” about Los Angeles Chargers rookie right tackle Joe Alto, who his brother will face on Sunday.
Alt struggled against Watt in the Steelers' 20-10 win over Los Angeles, with the edge rusher recording three tackles and a sack and Alt being called for holding on Watt's pass rush.

The Watts brothers may be two of the most fearsome pass rushers in NFL history, but like all brothers, they'll joke about anything, even when one is congratulating the other.
But it all comes from love.
