Author J.K. Rowling, who has become a favorite target of left-wing attack for her anti-transgender issues comments, had the perfect rebuttal to woke keyboard warriors who told the author in X, “Me and the kids had fun burning your books.”
That's not all left-wing critics had to say: Rowling removed personal information from the post, leaving only the user's rainbow emoji and the date and time of posting, but included the full message.
“You are a stupid and horrible woman,” the person declared. “My kids and I have had fun burning your books and roasting marshmallows on your pathetic books.”
Rowling is also known for her sharp wit amid such sociopolitical turmoil. She did not disappoint here“Whether you read it or burn it, I get the same royalties. Enjoy your marshmallows!” Rowling also added a kissing emoji just to be safe.
Rowling, who boasts over 14 million followers on X, garnered over 50,000 likes in her rebuttal within an hour (and counting), here are just a few of them:
