Taylor Swift’s Ex Spotted with Sarah Pidgeon in New York

Taylor Swift’s former partner, Joe Alwyn, was recently seen out in New York with actress Sarah Pidgeon, known for her role as Carolyn Bessette Kennedy in a hit FX series.

Pidgeon was reportedly “spotted in Fort Greene” in Brooklyn, according to a post from Dumois. Interestingly, when she was seen with Jake Gyllenhaal previously, it turned out they were preparing for a film project together.

Representatives for both Alwyn and Pidgeon have not yet commented on the matter.

Fans had various reactions, with one joking that they’re trying to provoke a new album from Swift. Another user remarked that Alwyn and Pidgeon would “be great together,” while a third mentioned they were fond of Swift but hoped everything works out well with the new pairing.

This news comes as excitement builds for Swift’s wedding to Travis Kelce, a tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, expected to happen at Madison Square Garden over the weekend of July 3.

Alwyn, now 35, and Swift, 36, were together for about six and a half years, starting their relationship in late 2016 and splitting in early 2023 during the onset of Swift’s elaborate tour. Sources previously indicated that their breakup wasn’t dramatic but rather a natural progression.

After their split, Swifties speculated that some tracks from her “Tortured Poets’ Department” songs hinted at their past relationship. Alwyn later spoke about the breakup in an interview with the London Times, expressing the challenges of ending a long-term relationship that became public and subject to external influence.

He described the situation as strange and emphasized the difference between reality and how it gets portrayed in the media. Alwyn shared his acceptance of this gap, acknowledging that the true experience may never be fully understood by outsiders.

Pidgeon, who is 29, has maintained a private life, only previously linked romantically to Spacey Jane’s frontman Caleb Harper after co-starring in a music video. Speculation about her dating rumors with Gyllenhaal surfaced earlier this year; however, it was clarified that they are working together on the film “Honeymoon with Harry.”
