A humble and contrite President Joe Biden saluted his wife at a reception at the White House on Monday and lavished praise on her, including a shout-out to Vice President Kamala Harris.
The tribute came as Biden called out the power of women in a speech praising honorees including actress Queen Latifah and the late singer Selena Quintanilla.
“As Jill Biden's husband, I know the power of the women in this room,” Biden revealed in his remarks. report.

He then continued the theme, seemingly paying tribute to Vice President Kamala Harris, his running mate before she was unceremoniously ousted from the Democratic presidential nomination.
“I know that with the power of the women in this room, we can accomplish ample work with the next generation of trailblazers,” Biden said. “Everything a man can do, a woman can do” And that includes becoming President of the United States,” he said, to applause.
Biden's comments came just 14 days after Election Day and as the race between Harris and former President Donald Trump nears the finish line.
