Joe Biden Uses January 6 to Smear Donald Trump in WaPo Oped

President Joe Biden used Sunday's op-ed on January 6, 2021 to launch a political attack against President-elect Donald Trump.

Biden ran for president in 2020, vowing to “restore” decency and honor to the White House.

Biden's comments made that promise appear to have failed again. published in washington post Under the heading “What Americans should remember about January 6th.”

In an optional article, Biden sought to divide Americans by reminding them of the events surrounding the last election and its aftermath.

Continuous efforts are underway to rewrite and even erase the history of the day. To tell you that we didn't see what we all saw with our own eyes. To dismiss concerns about it as some kind of partisan obsession. To describe it as a protest that got out of hand.

In time, some Americans who did not witness the January 6th riot firsthand will learn about it from the footage and testimonies of that day, from what is written in history books, and from the truths we pass on to our children. Dew. We cannot allow truth to be lost.

Thousands of rioters crossed the National Mall, scaled the walls of the Capitol, smashed windows and kicked in doors. A few blocks away, a bomb was discovered near the vice president-elect's location, threatening her life. Law enforcement officers were beaten, dragged, knocked unconscious and trampled. Several police officers ultimately died as a result.

Mr. Biden's op-ed did not mention the partisan nature of the Jan. 6 commission and its ultimate failure to prevent Mr. Trump from being re-elected.

Trump's landslide victory was the biggest upset in American political history. His political opponents seek to imprison, bankrupt, assassinate, remove him from the ballot and render him politically irrelevant by introducing a partisan commission to investigate on January 6th. defeated.
