Olivia Ponton Reflects on Challenging Year Amid Rumors of Relationship with Joe Burrow
Olivia Ponton, rumored to be dating Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow, recently shared insights about her past year during a two-day Q&A on social media.
When asked about the toughest time of 2025, she mentioned that October was particularly challenging for her. Coincidentally, that month also marked Burrow’s recovery period for a toe injury sustained earlier, sidelining him until the Bengals’ Thanksgiving matchup against the Baltimore Ravens.
“October was a pretty tough month for me, but thankfully I had this girl next to me,” she remarked when responding to a follower’s question.
After Burrow’s return, he made some remarks concerning his future in football. When probed about how his recent injuries have affected his perspective on the game, he responded, “It’s certainly not going to change my desire to win. If I want to continue doing this, I’ve got to have fun. I’ve been through a lot, but if it’s not fun, then what are you doing it for? So that’s the mindset I try to bring to the table.”
Burrow reflected on his career and said he hasn’t pinpointed a single moment that changed his mindset. Instead, it seems to be a culmination of experiences. “I think I’ve been through more than most people, and it’s definitely not easy on the brain or the body,” he noted, adding he is simply trying to enjoy the game again.
Meanwhile, Ponton alluded to the events of 2025, indicating that there’s a lot happening in their lives but not going into details. She expressed a more optimistic outlook, mentioning, “2025 was a year focused on stability and consistency for 2026. I would like to travel to some new countries that are on my bucket list.”
Ponton also stated she doesn’t hold any superstitions, although she plans to start the new year with a positive approach. “I wouldn’t say I’m superstitious, but I love starting the year off on a positive note to accomplish some sort of ‘challenge’ to myself so I can carry healthy habits into 2026,” she added.
For those following their story, Ponton and Burrow first became linked after she reported a break-in at his home in December 2024, but she has remained silent about the incident since then.
