Joe Burrow’s obvious facemask call was somehow missed by refs vs. the Cowboys

With the score tied at 20 with less than seven minutes left in the fourth quarter, Burrow found himself on 2nd-and-13 from Cincy's own 46-yard line. Dallas' pass rush reached home and hit Burrow, forcing what appeared to be a fumble. It was clear that Burrow had been knocked over by his face mask during the play, but somehow the referees missed that call.

Dallas got the ball back, but the referees overturned the play and ultimately ruled it incomplete after a challenge from the Bengals. Cincy held the ball until punting two plays later. Facemask was supposed to score first in Cincinnati, but the referees missed the call. Watch the play here:

At such a critical moment, referees cannot afford to overlook a simple face mask call. It seems Burrow has a habit of not being able to take such calls.
