Joe Flacco won a Super Bowl with the Baltimore Ravens a little over 10 years ago. His 11 years with the Ravens ended after the 2018 season. Since then, he has become a journeyman quarterback of sorts.
Last offseason, every NFL team passed on the opportunity to sign Flacco. However, after Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson suffered a season-ending injury in November, the team decided to reach out to Flacco.
He was signed to the Browns’ practice squad but was quickly promoted to the active roster and started in Cleveland’s Week 13 game against the Los Angeles Rams when rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson was sidelined with a head injury.
