“I have two beautiful children,” he said of his and Turner’s daughters, Willa, 4, and Delphine, 2.

“I’m a happy person, so the music needed to reflect that, but it also needed to reflect the journey that got me here,” Jonas added.

The 35-year-old pop star recently described the album, which is due for release on October 18th, as her “most personal music to date.”

During an appearance on the “Therapuss” podcast last month, the Jonas Brothers member said he felt an emotional urge to “work on music” without any idea where it would lead him.

Joe got the go-ahead from his brothers while Kevin Jonas was filming season three of “Claim to Fame” and Nick Jonas was shooting a movie earlier this year.

“So I had some time, and I locked myself in and worked on it,” he says. “I made the album in a couple of weeks. I’m super excited about it. It’s the most personal music I’ve ever put out.”

Joe teased a track from the album on TikTok in May, hinting at his breakup from the “Dark Phoenix” actress.

“Hey Joe, you’ve got so much to be grateful for/Stop being sad, you’re making the room uncomfortable/I get it/I know you’re feeling so miserable/Sometimes I wish I had the power to be invisible,” the father of two sings.

“Even the bad guys feel sad sometimes, that’s the most painful truth / You call mommy and daddy, but they don’t know what to do.”
