Joe Rogan says he's been personally contacted by many famous artists, musicians, and even “fucking hippies” to thank him for supporting President-elect Donald Trump. It is said that he is coming.
The wildly popular podcaster claimed he received praise for publicly supporting the Republican Party because liberal figures “can't do it” for fear of being ridiculed for not supporting Vice President Kamala Harris.
“There's a lot of people who don't voice their opinions. Do you know how many artists have contacted me, like fucking hippies, artists, musicians, comedians? Episodes of 'The Joe Rogan Experience.'
“They say they want to do it, but they don't want to be attacked. They can't say that. They think this country is going in the wrong direction.”
Although he didn't name names, Logan suggested elsewhere in the episode that a lot of people right now are just throwing their support behind a cause, even if they don't actually believe in it.
“A lot of the things people say are because they don't want people to attack them. They say it because they think it makes them feel better, that it's okay,” he says.
“If you say you support 'x' – you may not support 'x' – but if you say you support 'x' you won't be attacked and the right people will leave you alone. or agree with you, and thank you or praise you.”
The podcast host withdrew his support for Trump on the eve of the election, less than two weeks after interviewing the former president on his wildly popular podcast.
Mr. Rogan also tried to have Ms. Harris appear on his show, but that didn't happen because the Democratic camp wouldn't meet him in the studio and tried to impose some ground rules.
