Joe Rogan shares his thoughts on the Jeffrey Epstein documents amid the debate over the DOJ investigation.

Joe Rogan recently discussed the Epstein Files controversy on his latest podcast, addressing the public’s response to issues surrounding pedophiles and those in his circle.

The prominent podcaster criticized the Trump administration’s claim that there were no lists or videos identifying clients involved with sex offenders.

“They have videotapes, but suddenly, they didn’t,” Rogan remarked during the latest episode of “The Joe Rogan Experience,” which aired on Tuesday.

“The show had an FBI director. [a videotape] there’s nothing you’re looking for,” he continued.

Rogan questioned the rationale behind the previous claims, asking, “What, what? Why did they say there were thousands of hours of tapes of people doing terrifying things? What was that about? Did Pam Bondi not say that?”

He referenced comments made by attorney general Pam Bondi on July 1st. Just days before the Justice Department stated that there were no innocent videos or “Epstein List,” Bondi indicated that the FBI was reviewing “a number” of videos involving children or child pornography.

Months prior, Bondi hinted that a supposed Epstein list was prepared for review, only to later clarify that it was merely an Epstein research file, which is quite different from the much-discussed list fueling various conspiracy theories.

This shift in narrative came after President Trump had spent time devising a plan to address Epstein and his government connections. Ultimately, nothing entirely new was uncovered from these files.

Rogan seems skeptical of the Trump administration’s new position, suggesting it may be an attempt to distract supporters from his prior commitments regarding Epstein. “It just forgets Iran and everyone. Everyone forgets that,” he noted.

This isn’t the first time he’s challenged Trump on his podcast recently, despite having supported him before the election.

Earlier in July, Rogan criticized the administration’s approach to illegal immigration, labeling the focus on rounding up undocumented workers as “crazy.” He expressed that authorities should target serious criminals rather than making arrests in parking lots.

“There are two insane things. One is the targeting of migrant workers. Not cartel members, not gang members, not drug dealers. Just construction workers. They show up at construction sites and take them in,” Rogan articulated, possibly alluding to the events that triggered protests in Los Angeles in June.

The Department of Homeland Security has contested Rogan’s portrayal of recent ice arrests, with a spokesperson pointing out that the “overwhelming majority” of ice arrests during Trump’s crackdown have involved individuals with criminal convictions.

Rogan’s podcast enjoys an audience of around 10 million listeners, and his views on Trump have evolved over time. Once a critic, he now supports him ahead of the 2024 election, influenced by arguments from figures like Elon Musk.
