Jogger goes viral after concerned neighbor asks if she’s OK in caught-on-video encounter

A post by a beginner jogger recently became a hot topic. video The story of a concerned neighbor who stopped her on her morning run, thinking she must be running from danger.

Anna Grace Boswell shared a funny clip on TikTok of her going for a jog, and her neighbor Stanley immediately followed her to ask if she was safe.

Boswell, who only signed up for the half marathon three weeks ago, shared footage from his front door security camera with the caption: “LOL, protect your neighbors at all costs.” He had no idea what I was running from, but was always willing to help! ”

The video has been viewed more than 11 million times and generated more than 10,000 comments from viewers, both delighted and confused by Stanley's concerns.

“He was like, 'Should I run?'” read one popular comment.

“He quickly understood the mission, but at the same time was confused by it,” another wrote.

A week after the video was posted, Boswell Stanley's own videoanswers some of the most pressing questions on the internet.

“I was playing basketball and I was disconnecting my peripherals and it was like instant fight or flight,” Stanley said in a follow-up video. “Something seemed off. I didn't even realize she was wearing full running gear.”

In an interview with peopleBoswell said she was shocked when he approached her. “Because in my mind, I looked pretty cool.”

“He definitely humbled me! But he's a very genuine person. I knew he only had pure intentions,” Boswell told the outlet.

As a woman who runs alone, Boswell said she feels safe living in a community where she feels her neighbors are looking out for her.

“The world needs more Stanleys!”

Although Stanley has since moved away and no longer lives across the street, Boswell said he has always considered Stanley a neighbor.
