House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-Louisiana), citing a Breitbart News report, sent a letter to Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas demanding answers about the recent surge in border migrants.

Johnson cited a Breitbart News report that said the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) had taken steps to hide the severity of the crisis from Congressional delegations.
The letter says:
