Jon Lovitz reacts to Crystal Hefner's statements about Hollywood's top customer

Jon Lovitz Responds to Crystal Hefner’s Remarks

Jon Lovitz has chosen to rise above recent comments made by Crystal Hefner, choosing not to focus on the past. In a recent appearance on the “Lisa Guerrero Unleashed” podcast, Hefner, widow of Hugh Hefner, referred to Lovitz, 69, as the “No. 1 customer” of the Playboy Mansion, labeling him as “one of the biggest pervs” in Hollywood.

After being spotted leaving a restaurant in Los Angeles, Lovitz expressed a sense of pride regarding his connection to the mansion. He said, “Any time someone says I’m No. 1, it’s a compliment,” while also reiterating his respect for the late media giant. “Hugh Hefner was one of the nicest, most generous people I’ve ever met, and all of his friends know it,” he added. “That’s all I have to say about that.”

In her podcast, Crystal accused the “Saturday Night Live” star of being a “lurker” at the famous Holmby Hills residence, which was known for its lavish parties. She stated he was often seen at the house, watching the women entering the events. “He would be up there all the time,” she claimed. “His eyes would go front to back [looking at] all the women that walked through the door at the party.”

Furthermore, Crystal mentioned Lovitz’s dog, saying it “peed all over the place” during parties, which seemed to leave an impression on her. The two first met when Crystal was just 21, and they became engaged in 2010 when she was 24 and Hefner was 84. Despite calling off their wedding just days before the ceremony in 2011, the couple married in 2012 and stayed together until his passing in 2017 at the age of 91.

On her own show, “After the Mansion,” Crystal referenced another prominent figure in Hollywood, claiming that Jack Nicholson treated the Playboy Mansion like his personal hotspot. “They used to call it Jack Nicholson’s drive-thru at one point because he would drive up, grab some food or whatever else he could get there and leave,” she recounted.

Nicholson’s daughter, Lorraine, has also shared her experiences at the mansion, stating she spent more time there than her father did. Crystal has previously indicated that Hefner was particularly captivated by Hollywood fame, treating celebrities exceptionally well whenever they visited the mansion.

Reflecting on her marriage after Hefner’s death, Crystal expressed her gratitude, saying, “He taught me love. He taught me kindness. He gave me life.” She emphasized how he opened her world to opportunities and experiences she might never have encountered otherwise.
