Jordon Hudson speaks with Bill Belichick prior to North Carolina's defeat against UCF

Jordon Hudson’s chat with Bill Belichick didn’t seem to sway the outcome for the Tar Heels on Saturday.

Before UNC faced off against Central Florida, Hudson, 24, was spotted on the sidelines in high heels, engaging in what appeared to be a pep talk with Belichick, who is 73. The content of their exchange remains a mystery, but it’s not the first time Hudson has shown support for Belichick this season.

The game took a quick turn in favor of Central Florida. They jumped to a 13-point lead, leaving UNC to finally respond with a field goal late in the second quarter.

Belichick commented on Central Florida’s performance, acknowledging their head coach Scott Frost, saying, “Their team certainly played better than us. There were a lot of areas where we were inconsistent.” After the game, his team’s record fell to 2-2.

Georopes, the quarterback for North Carolina, had a tough outing, managing just 87 passing yards with an interception before exiting with a right leg injury in the third quarter.

Meanwhile, Lopez ended up finishing the game by riding in a golf cart.

Quarterback Taben Jackson started strong, throwing for 223 yards and rushing for 66, securing both a passing and rushing touchdown.

This marked the third consecutive season where Central Florida kicked off with a 3-0 record, and Frost remarked how his team played with resilience after the game.

Reflecting on his time coaching at UCF, Frost stated, “We’ve got a solid foundation, but we know we need to do better, and playing with a chip on our shoulder might be the right approach.” He touched on how confidence within the coaching staff had its ups and downs but seemed hopeful about UCF’s future.
