There’s no indication that the chill between Nantucket’s social circle and Jordon Hudson is going to lift anytime soon.
A recent report suggests that Linda Holiday, a friend of Bill Belichick’s former partner, indicated that they “don’t want anything” to do with the 24-year-old who is dating the legendary coach.
“Most of Linda’s friends are keeping their distance from Jordon,” an insider from Nantucket said on Thursday. “Linda is well-established and well-liked, so Jordon might be seen as somewhat unwelcome.”
It was reported earlier this week that Hudson feels “iced out” by the exclusive Nantucket community, as she expresses a desire to become more involved.
Another source mentioned that while it might take some time, Hudson is determined to find her place in the circle. “She has her own approach, but she’ll probably need to distance herself from Linda’s crowd,” the insider noted.
Although some may be hostile toward Hudson, it seems the gossip surrounding her relationship with Belichick still follows her.
While many pretend they aren’t aware of Bill and Jordon’s connection, discussions continue behind her back. Several in this social circle have likely faced similar issues as Linda did.
Belichick’s relationship with Hudson came to light in the summer of 2024, which is notable as it was just three years after his trip to Palm Beach.
Linda Holiday’s breakup with the 73-year-old coach was made public in 2023, after they had been together since 2007.
The tension between Holiday and Hudson became evident during a holiday gathering in Nantucket last December, where it’s reported that Holiday confronted Hudson.
According to an incident report obtained, Holiday expressed that she was displeased with Hudson’s presence at a gathering and even requested her removal.
Security footage from the event captured moments of tension between Holiday, Hudson, and Melissa Sapini, another friend of Hudson’s, on the dance floor.
Sapini shared with others how Holiday’s presence made Hudson uncomfortable, pointing out the influence Holiday has among her friends.
This week, Sapini emphasized that Belichick should concentrate on the UNC Football Program, especially as Belichick prepares for his first collegiate coaching season.
Having spent 24 seasons with the Patriots and winning six Super Bowls, he is now shifting his focus to a new role.
Currently, Belichick and Hudson are preoccupied with their own lives, leaving little room to entertain criticisms or speculation about future plans, including any potential engagement.
North Carolina is set to face TCU on September 1st.
