The suffering mother disagreed with the interview, but she told Exguchi that the family thoughts were with Conanki and her loved ones.

Tina also refused to say whether Libe will return to St. Cloud State, an advanced student studying land research.

“We're keeping it to ourselves now. It's been a long trip,” she added.

Riibe's homecoming took place in weeks, including a long hold in Puerto Rico regarding the issue of a new passport he had to obtain to leave the Dominican Republic.

The passport issued by the US Consulate in the Dominican Republic to help him leave quickly is reportedly not properly carved when he left the tropical nation.

Riibe was questioned for two weeks before authorities determined that there was no rogue play on his side with Conanki's loss, but he last saw her alive.

He and the ready-made students went for an early morning swim at Ryu Hotel & Resort in Punta Cana on March 6th, but the water turned out to be too rough for Conanki.

Libe told officers that she pulled out of the depths so that she could stand in the deep waters of her knees before getting drunk on the beach. She hasn't been seen since.

The two had just met for the first time at the hotel that night, when a group of Libe's friends introduced Conanki and her University of Pittsburgh girlfriend.

Suvellience footage shows the group drinking together and stumbling before heading to the beach. The friends reportedly left and released Libe and Conanki.

Authorities described him as a person of interest, but never accused him of misconduct or said he was a suspect.

He was allowed to leave immediately after asking Conanki's sad parents to let him go to Dominican authorities and declare his daughter legally dead.

“Both authorities have shown how high the ocean waves were at the time of the incident, and both sides of the authorities have made it clear that the interested person was not a suspect from the start,” Sabu Belayudu Conanki, the father of a man and woman, said from a family home in Virginia.

“It has deep sadness and heavy heart to us that we agree with the fact that our daughter has owned,” he said.

“This is very difficult for us to handle.”
