Pop superstar Usher Raymond will be appearing on ABC's View He didn't respond to host Joy Behar's invitation Wednesday to slam former President Donald Trump.
After Usher spoke about recent developments, including concert films, the conversation turned to Trump. Meeting in Paris It made its debut this weekend when Joy Behar riled up and slammed the former president.
“So you're supporting Kamala Harris for president,” Behar began.
“Yes,” he replied, to applause from the audience.
Behar then mentioned Tuesday night's presidential debate, which Usher said he didn't watch because of his performance at the time.
“I was like, 'Do your own research and decide for yourself, but I'm voting for Kamala.' I always say in this emergency that we're facing, artists should speak out for Kamala against Donald Trump because he is an existential threat to the country. What do you think about that?” Behar asked.
“I'm not that interested in politics. I didn't have a chance to watch the debate last night. […] “I think voting is a personal choice,” Usher said. “You have to look at the reality of the country right now and the reality of the country we want to be, and find the candidates that you think fit into the category of the country you want to be. That's what it's all about. That's what you should base your vote on.”
Taylor Swift endorsed Kamala Harris on Tuesday night and encouraged people to make their own choices.
“Like many of you, I watched tonight's debate, and if you haven't already, now is a great time to find out where the candidates stand on the issues at hand and the issues that matter most to you. As a voter, I make it a point to watch and read everything I can about their proposed policies and plans for this country,” she said.
