Juan Soto made quite the first impression.
In his spring training debut with the Yankees on Sunday, wearing a pinstriped uniform, Soto hit an inverted three-run home run that hit the left-center scoreboard in the bottom of the fourth inning at Tampa.
The 428-foot-tall bomb had a firing speed of 110.1 miles per hour, giving the Yankees a 7-1 lead over the Blue Jays.
Soto, 25, was the No. 2 hitter in the lineup ahead of Aaron Judge, who went 2-for-2 with an RBI and two RBIs.
Although it was only the first game of spring training, the impressive home run was a welcome sight for the Yankees, who acquired Soto in December’s blockbuster trade with the Padres.

Soto has one year left on his contract before he becomes an unrestricted free agent.
