Judge finds ‘probable cause’ to hold Trump administration in criminal contempt over deportation flights

WASHINGTON – A federal judge on Wednesday confirmed last month that he has been emptied Trump’s administration to court for violating an order to suspend deportation of Venezuelan immigrants under wartime law.

Washington State Judge James Boasberg said the government had “willfully ignored” the March 15 order, excluding the government to deport gang members to El Salvador under alien enemy law.

When Boasberg issued the order, two Venezuelan planes were on their way from the US to El Salvador, not returning to the US.

He said there is a possible cause for detective contagious government.

“The court does not reach such conclusions lightly or in a hurry. Indeed, it gave the defendants ample opportunity to correct or explain their actions,” Boasberg wrote in his ruling. “None of their reactions are satisfactory.”
