Early signs suggest that the Randle family is coming to terms with a surprising change of circumstances.
After Friday night's trade, in which the Knicks sent Julius Randle, Donte DiVincenzo, Daquan Jeffries and a first-round draft pick to the Timberwolves in exchange for Karl-Anthony Towns, Randle's wife Kendra made several shared positive reactions.
On her Instagram Story, Kendra reshared a post from ESPN's NBA account that featured a photoshopped photo of her husband in a Timberwolves jersey, writing, “Minnesota could be scary next season.” captioned it.
Kendra added five eye and heart emojis to show her love for the move.

In a subsequent post, Kendra reshared a photo of the Timberwolves' projected starting lineup and added her own caption: “Scary times: Minnesota is here.”
Added ghost, fire, and celebration emojis.
Randle, 29, has been with the Knicks for the past five seasons.
Last season, he averaged 24.0 points, 9.2 rebounds, and 5.0 assists per game.

He underwent season-ending shoulder surgery just before the playoffs, but was expected to be back in time for next season.
ESPN's Ramona Shelburne noticedRandle's contract extension with the Knicks was not progressing this summer, so a trade was likely.
Towns previously played for Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau in Minnesota, and the two sides had an infamous altercation.
Despite this, the center told the Post's Stephen Bondy last season that he and Thibodeau had “a falling out.”
“There was nothing wrong with Tis. We were crushed on it,” Towns said last October. “I still consider Thisbus one of the best X-and-O coaches I ever had the pleasure of playing for. He breathes winning and I have nothing but respect for him. there is no.”
Towns, who still has $200 million left on his contract, is a big man who can penetrate opposing defenses with his 3-point shot and is a strong defender himself.
