Justice Department releases first phase of Epstein files

The Department of Justice (DOJ) released a Thursday's packet There is flight log and contact information from the deceased convicted sex offender and Jeffery Epstein from his circle of friends.

“The first phase of the files released today will shed light on Epstein's extensive network and begin to provide long-deferred accountability to the public,” Attorney General Pam Bondy wrote in a statement.

The information contained on page 341 has been posted on the DOJ website for public review. Page 236 consisted of flight logs, page 95 contained edited contact information, page 7 contained a masseuse list, and page 3 listed as evidence.

FBI Director Kash Patel shared his support for the move to release the Epstein file, citing the push for transparency in another comment.

“There are no cover-ups, no missing documents, no stones left unremained. If there are gaps, we will find them,” Patel said.

“If records are hidden, we reveal them, and we bring everything we find to the DOJ, fully appreciated and transparently sowed to the Americans that we should have,” he added.

Similarly, Bondi shared a letter addressed to Patel, urging them to forward additional documents and audio and video recordings related to Epstein.

“There will be no withholding or restrictions on me or your access,” she wrote.

The FBI director was given a deadline of 8am Friday to submit all materials related to Epstein's crime ring.
