Is it too late to say sorry?
Justin Bieber once told his wife, model Hailey Bieber, that she would never make it to the cover of Vogue—only to “almost” take that back during a conflict.
In a surprising acknowledgment, Justin celebrated Hailey’s upcoming summer 2025 Vogue cover in an Instagram post on Tuesday, hinting at his past comment in a lighthearted yet reflective manner.
“This reminds me of a big fight Hailey and I had,” Justin shared. “I told her she would never get on the cover of Vogue.” He didn’t go into detail about the argument but noted that he felt “disrespected” during that moment.
He reflected, “As we grow, I think we start to realize that being equally defensive doesn’t help—it’s just prolonging the intimacy and connection we truly want.”
At the end of his message, Justin apologized, acknowledging that he was wrong. “So, my baby knows, but please forgive me for saying that I wouldn’t get a Vogue cover. I realize I made a mistake,” he admitted.
Following his candidness about the disagreement, fans quickly took to the comments. Some encouraged him to keep those moments private, while others chimed in with humorous takes on his vulnerability.
Haley has graced the covers of various high-profile fashion magazines multiple times. She first appeared on Vogue’s cover alongside Justin in March 2019, which featured images shot by Annie Leibovitz. Later, they were also featured in Vogue Italia’s October 2020 issue.
Her solo debut for Vogue came in 2020 with Vogue India. Since then, she’s been on the covers of Vogue France and Vogue Australia.
This Tuesday, Haley’s new Vogue cover was released, accompanied by an interview addressing postpartum challenges and rumors surrounding her marriage with Justin.
In the interview, she addressed speculation of a split, saying, “That’s not the case.” She continued, “After having a child, you’d think people might move on and relax a bit.” Justin and Hailey, married since 2018, welcomed their first child, son Jack Bruce, last August.
