Justin Timberlake Expected To Plead Guilty, Agree To Deal In DWI Arrest

Officials with the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office said they “expect” Timberlake to plead guilty at a court hearing in Sag Harbor on Friday.

According to reports, a judge approved the deal to clear the DUI charge, but only if Timberlake complies with the deal.

TMZ Timberlake and prosecutors have reportedly come to an agreement to reduce his original charge of DUI to “driving with impaired ability,” meaning he will likely only be fined between $300 and $500 for the charge.

According to the lawsuit, the music star had “bloodshot and shiny eyes,” “a strong odor of alcoholic beverages emanating from his breath,” “inability to concentrate,” “spoke slowly” and “was unsteady on his gait.”

According to the documents, Timberlake told the arresting officers he had “just had one martini” and was following friends home.

After he was arrested, he refused to take a breathalyzer test, according to court documents.

Timberlake was originally charged with one count of DUI, as well as other charges relating to not keeping to the right and failing to stop at a stop sign.

Meanwhile, the pop star's lawyer, Ed Burke Jr., argued that police made “serious errors” during his arrest in June.

“The most important fact in this case is that Justin was not intoxicated and should not have been arrested for DUI,” Burke said in a statement.
