Kaley Cuoco Shares Botox Experience on Podcast
Kaley Cuoco recently discussed an eye-opening beauty experience from her time on “The Big Bang Theory.” The actress, known for her role as Penny in the popular sitcom that aired from 2007 to 2019, revealed on the “Skinny But Not Fat” podcast that her first Botox injections came just before filming, and she hadn’t quite grasped the impact it would have on her performance.
“I was so excited to have my forehead done,” Cuoco reflected. However, things took a turn when she described her experience during filming, stating, “I had a scene where I had to do something like this to my face.” She found herself unable to move, and the awkwardness was palpable. “I couldn’t believe how bad it was,” she confessed, recalling how her forehead seemed frozen. “It felt like this weird battle; I was doing these jokes, but nothing was moving.” This led her to reconsider her approach to cosmetic enhancements. “I thought, ‘Whoa, let me calm down,'” she added. Now, she’s opted out of forehead treatments.
Yet, Cuoco isn’t giving up on botox entirely. She remarked that she still enjoys a little bit, with updates on her neck area being a part of her routine. “I always had these neck wrinkles that drove me crazy,” she admitted. “So, I fill them up a little now. It goes smoothly.” It seems she’s found a balance that works for her.
The actress didn’t shy away from discussing her past decisions regarding plastic surgery, jokingly claiming she was, “the leader of the pack” among celebrities discussing such things. Cuoco disclosed a history with breast implants, mentioning that she had two and was even “hoping for a third.” She described the choice as, “the best decision I ever made,” expressing her satisfaction with how the enhancements helped her feel more confident in her own skin.
In a previous interview, she had noted that getting breast implants at 18 was not about trying to look a certain way but rather about feeling balanced in her body. “I always felt unbalanced,” she shared. “It really was about confidence, not about being sexy.” Her candidness regarding plastic surgery continues to resonate with many, and it seems she’s comfortable with her choices.
